Mentor to Youth
he Mentor commits to a long‐term volunteer assignment with a goal of building a positive relationship with their mentee. Mentors build relationships with youth by providing setting or outside the classroom. Mentors must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED, and be able to commit to at least four (4) consecutive monthly visits at an hour each time. Fridays from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Cummings Middle School and Wednesdays from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Stell Middle School.

Youth Programs Assistant
The YDS Volunteer may participate a variety of activities to aid the Site Coordinator in daily Youth Development Service operation.

- Meal Monitor
- Activity Leader
- Field Trip Chaperone
- Career Guest Speaker


Classroom Decoration
Classroom Decorators will help staff prepare for Camp Good Sam activities by decorating classrooms on campus. Decorating classrooms brings life to the campus during the (6) week summer program and is a fun way to volunteer. This opportunity will take place on May 29th through June 2nd between the hours of 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

There are no fees associated with the volunteer membership, there is a suggested donation of $25.00 to cover the cost of the background check and volunteer t-shirt.
