Simon Salas - Chief Executive Officer

Simon Salas, CEOSimon Salas received his BA from Columbia College, his JD from Columbia Law School, and an MPA from Columbia's School of International and Public Affairs. Simon served as a chief exective in San Antonio for 30 years before joining Good Samaritan, creating service delivery infrastructures for start-up and mature organizations in the education, government, nonprofit and business sectors. After serving as Vice President and Board Member of GSCS between the years 2010 and 2016, Simon serves the community that he was born and raised in, and works diligently to strengthen GSCS' partnerships with the families it serves and continues GSCS' mission to be a catalyst for change. Alejandra Navarro - Executive Assistant

Ale NavarroAlejandra Navarro received her B.A. in Psychology from St. Mary's University. "Ale" joined the agency in October, 2013, and is responsible for assisting the CEO in carrying out their responsibilities, manages special projects on policy, and provides staff support to the Board of Directors, Advisory Boards, and Committees. She serves as the chairperson of the West Side Barrio Network - at network of over 40 agencies serving the 78207 zip code in San Antonio. Contact:

Kathleen Judson Dove - Interim Director of Advancement

Kathleen DoveKathleen Dove, Interim Director of Advancement, is responsible for and oversees strategic planning, marketing, and development while advancing this mission, vision, and values of GSCS across South Texas. Kathleen joined Good Sam in 2012 with a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations and Minor in History from Baylor University. As the Interim Director of Advancement, Kathleen plans, coordinates and assures implementation of strategies to develop donors and contributions to support the organization. Contact:

Mark Leinenbach - Director of Finance

Mark LeinenbachMark Leinenbach earned a B.A. in Accounting and a Master's Degree in Accountancy from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Mark joined the agency in June 2017 and is responsible for overseeing the day to day accounting operations, the preparation of the annual budgets, and the direction of the organization's fiscal functions and performance. His experience includes six years in public accounting with a focus on the audits of Nonprofits and Government grants. Contact:

Jennifer Cook - Director of Program Operations

Jen FinalJennifer Cook has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems from St. Mary's University, where she was on the women's collegiate basketball team, and a Master's Degree in Business Administration with specialization in Leadership from Walden University. Jennifer has been with the agency since 2002 and oversees all of the agency's program operations including those in San Antonio, Brownsville, RGV, Sonora and Wimberley. In 2015, Jennifer was awarded the Outstanding Leadership Award from the State of Texas Division of Prevention and Early Intervention. Contact:
