Simon Salas - Chief Executive Officer

Simon Salas, CEOSimon Salas received his BA from Columbia College, his JD from Columbia Law School, and an MPA from Columbia's School of International and Public Affairs. Simon served as a chief executive in San Antonio for 30 years, creating service delivery infrastructures for start-up and mature organizations in the education, government, nonprofit and business sectors. After serving as Vice President and Board Member of GSCS between the years 2010 and 2016, Simon serves the community that he was born and raised in, and works diligently to strengthen GSCS' partnerships with the families it serves. Alejandra Navarro - Executive Assistant

Ale NavarroAlejandra Navarro received her B.A. in Psychology from St. Mary's University. "Ale" joined the agency in October, 2013, and is responsible for assisting the CEO in carrying out their responsibilities, manages special projects on policy, and provides staff support to the Board of Directors, Advisory Boards, and Committees. William Bailey - Chief Development Officer

William BaileyWill is a graduate of The University of the Incarnate Word with a B.A. in International Affairs, and a minor in Business Administration. Upon graduation, Will accepted a position with The Children's Hospital of San Antonio Foundation as a Development Specialist. Most recently, he served as the Major Gifts Officer for the Foundation. Mark Leinenbach - Director of Finance

Mark LeinenbachMark Leinenbach earned a B.A. in Accounting and a Master's Degree in Accountancy from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Mark joined the agency in June 2017 and is responsible for overseeing the day to day accounting operations, the preparation of the annual budgets, and the direction of the organization's fiscal functions and performance. Jennifer Cook - Director of Program Operations

Jen FinalJennifer Cook has a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems from St. Mary's University, where she was on the women's collegiate basketball team, and a Master's Degree in Business Administration with specialization in Leadership from Walden University. Jennifer has been with the agency since 2002 and oversees all of the agency's program operations including those in San Antonio, Brownsville, RGV, Sonora and Wimberley. In 2015, Jennifer was awarded the Outstanding Leadership Award from the State of Texas Division of Prevention and Early Intervention.

Jamie Herrmann - Director of Human Resources & Talent Management

Jamie HerrmannJamie Herrmann is a graduate of The University of Texas-Tyler with a Masters of Science in Human Resources Development, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of Texas-San Antonio. Jamie joined the agency in August 2018 and is responsible for the Human Resources department. Her experience includes 10 years in the Human Resources field with concentration in policy, training, and employee relations.
